Ashley I really like the two pictures that you had chosen for this project it really looks that you were having fun drawing and choosing the right colors for you pictures. It looks that you are and expert in Photoshop. Well let get to the critiquing in you first picture I don’t have to say much you did a great job the picture looks really realistic but theirs more thing that you could added to make it look better for example added shadow to the face or to the eyes just to make It look better . in you second picture of lady gaga I like it because you added little details for example the color pink in her hair I like that and the eye shadow green in her eyes that looks really good the background that looks really realistic Ithink that in all your work that you did everything came out really cool so good job.
Ashley Scott, I really enjoyed your first drawing , I think came out really cute and realistic in comparison to mine- or others. I think you did an incredible job with drawing the girls facial characteristics like her eyes, eyebrows, nose and lips. I also think you did a good job with the face out line, when I tried doing this girls face it looked like um I don’t … oh like the guy who invented the iphone. Now to speak of Lady GaGa, I think your drawing came out super cute! I really like it, and I especially like the background, it reminds me of That 70s Show, like when their tripping out. I also liked how you drew Lady GaGas lips, specially the color! For both your drawings I think you choose your colors correctly, they have a good correlation with the pictures. Anyways overall I think both your drawings came out really cute! :D Now I shall speak of your page, to start I think you page is very pink and cute. But ma’am I’m not sure if its set up correctly, I think you posted your drawings twice..but I guess its okay, mean to be honest I think I did it too! Overall though I think both your drawings and your page look good. :D
Ashley, your two paintings look a lot like the original ones and for that, congrats. Both of the drawings came out realistic with detail on the hair and face. But let me give you some tips on how to improve your shadowing because there aren’t a lot of shadows on both of your pictures. They came out good but with a few details here and there it will be almost perfect. Now your first painting came out real good and realistic, but there aren’t any shadows around the face. And that’s a big deal because faces have shadows all around them. I think you should of have added shadows on the top left of the forehead and the bottom chin and neck. And that is all I have to say for the first painting, everything else is good!
Now your second painting is good but not great. It does look like lady gaga but there is a lot of shining on her face. If you use the pencil tool or drawing tool and choose the color with low opacity of 20-30% and start painting it around her cheeks or most of the face it would look a lot better. Also, add a little more shadowing around her eyes and the neck. That’s it Ashley, you did a really great job with these two painting. They are among the best, so keep up the good work and have a nice day!
